Because sometimes we need more than group counselling to
overcome our grief and move on…
Let Me Walk Along Beside You, 1-On-1,
And Personally Guide You To A Place Of Healing,
A Place Of Wholeness, A Place Of Hope…
(Read on to see how you can get a FREE half-hour grief-resolution consultation with Registered Professional Counsellor, author, speaker, and acknowledged Grief and Loss Expert, Janelle Breese Biagioni.)
Janelle has that rare combination of skills and sensitivity that allows a person to immediately feel they are not alone, that it is okay to grieve in whatever way feels comfortable, and that ultimately there is hope and a chance for renewal … even when you feel you can’t go on.” -Tracy L.
You and I both know how the grief of a major loss can destroy our lives, if it goes unresolved:
- Eating away at your confidence
- Destroying relationships
- Interfering with your ability to perform your job
- Making sleep difficult
- Contributing to any number of stress-related illnesses
Major loss traumatizes your heart, mind, and soul.
It attacks all areas of Life – leaving us confused, listless, lost, disorganized, and unable to respond to daily activities as we had before. Nothing makes sense, and our desire for a return to “what was” results in the “could-haves” and “should-haves” overpowering the beauty of “we did” and “we had”.
And I’m not talking about only the loss of a loved one through death. We can also “lose” someone through illness or injury … which often results in the loss of “who they once were”.
We can lose a part of ourselves in the same way – losing our memory, our sole source of income, or the use of our limbs.
Of course, there are many other forms of “loss” altogether – and they can be every bit as devastating, in their way … or worse. Even a partial list would include the following:
- Divorce or Separation
- Chronic Illness
- Catastrophic Injury
- Developmental events (such as your children leaving home)
- Transitional loss (like moving to a new community, or losing your job)
- Car Crashes
- Pet Loss
- … and more.
And every one of these can carry with it an enduring grief that clings and claws at you until you finally do whatever it takes to overcome that grief, heal the loss, and mend your heart.
Let’s hop on a FREE half-hour “consultation” call
Yes, I’d like to offer you a chance to sit down with me – whether on the phone, or even a video chat on Skype – and talk through the particulars of your own situation.
“Whatever it takes” means choosing from among proven strategies and techniques for mourning your loss and moving forward. Most of us though are never taught these strategies, and instead just fall back on whatever our parents and close friends do – which far too often is “nothing”.
This is why I wrote my book “Life Losses: Healing For A Broken Heart” and created the Brave Hearts group coaching program…
…but sometimes, for some people, these things are not enough
For some people, simply learning new and effective coping and healing strategies from the pages of a book is enough to overcome their grief.
For some – those who thrive on interacting with others in a group setting – the Brave Hearts program is all they need.
Sometimes, the loss cuts so deeply and hurts so much that we need something more than a book, and “group coaching” just doesn’t feel right. (Because not everyone is comfortable “opening up” about their experience in front of a group – even when it’s just on the phone.)
For these people (including you, perhaps?) I’m happy to present a third choice:
Announcing the “Life Redesign” private grief coaching program: 18 weeks of personalized 1-on-1 help so you can heal your heart, and begin moving forward in Life, once again
Loss, regardless of its type or intensity, is always life-altering.
It shatters dreams, changes our view of the world, and has a huge impact on how we live out the rest of our days. You can’t get around that simple truth – you can only work through it, one day at a time.
The Life Redesign is an 18-week intensive one-on-one healing journey we take together – just you and me.
We’ll meet once a week, for an hour each time – either by phone, on a Skype video chat, or even in person if you live near Victoria, British Columbia.
Our first hour is spent getting to know each other, and getting your story – your experience of loss – out in the open. The final week is a wrap-up and graduation session.
And in between, we’ll spend a full sixteen 1-hour sessions working through the healing process and redesigning your new future … exploring such topics as:
- Releasing those feelings of anger, guilt, and regret that have been holding you back from moving forward
- Acknowledging who you “were” prior to the loss, as well as “what” you’ve actually lost
- Learning to forgive yourself … whether for being the one left here to continue living, or for letting go of someone or something that no longer serves you
- Learning to honour the past while living in the present (and planning for the future)
- Strategies to restore a sense of calm and order to your daily life
- Strategies to cope with the yearning and searching for meaning
- Activating your inner warrior to take control of any changes in the future
- How to reconnect with passion, talents and unique aspects of yourself
- Weaving your experience of loss into your “whole life” and using it to power your lifelong dreams and purpose
- Connecting with the new “you” by examining your changed world views
- Powering-up your inner desire to “redesign” your life and reconnect with joy
- Rediscovering your abilities and celebrate the path you have walked
- How to launch your “bucket list” using the energy of your loss as a catapult to do anything you desire
- Defining your new “bliss scale” and reconnecting with those people and activities that bring you happiness, and support “living the life you want”
- Tactics for pushing through any feelings of abandonment, loneliness and despair
- How to armour yourself for protection from well-meaning (but all-too-often negative) people who think they “know what’s best” for you
- Turning hopelessness into hopefulness, sadness into happiness, loneliness to love.
Of course this (partial) list is meant only as a guide to what we might work on together. Because the entire program is all about YOU. And your own experience is what shapes the final form YOUR personalized program takes.
It’s a small price to pay for so much Hope.
It’s a small price to pay for so much Healing.
And just as everyone’s experience of loss is unique and personal, so too is this program for each person who takes it.
But one thing you can always count on being woven throughout every session, and the entire program, is the over-riding message of HOPE! One of the most devastating results of any major loss is that feeling of hopelessness – and one of the most critical requirements for the healing journey is hope that there are better days ahead for you.
And you can have this FREE Gift Bundle, too…
When you register for the Life Redesign program, in addition to your 18 weekly sessions, you also get the following FREE Bonus Gifts, selected especially to help you get the most out of this program, and make your journey as smooth as possible:

And if you’re feeling a little “shy”, self-conscious, or fearful about pouring your heart out to a stranger … then listen to what this woman says about her own experience. You may be able to relate to her:
At a time in my life when I was trying to move on and heal from a loss in my life, I was lucky enough to be recommended to Janelle. Her caring, understanding, and gentle, guiding way was exactly what I needed to really begin healing.
I had never spoken to anyone but family and close friends about what I was going through, and I finally had to admit that I needed help from someone who was not family, to help me begin to heal.
Some of the exercises she gave me made all the difference in the world in letting out the pain I was trying to hide (and which I thought I was stronger than).
Initially, I worried that I wouldn’t be able to talk it through with someone I didn’t know because I feared being judged. But it took less than 10 minutes of my first appointment with Janelle to feel at ease. You can tell she loves what she does and that her own life experiences add to her ability to help others.
One of the best choices I made in the past year was deciding to sit down with Janelle!”

Think about how much your prolonged grief has cost you already … in lost productivity … in tears … in restless nights and joyless days. And if you’re ready to get started on a new path … then let’s schedule a time we can talk about your situation, and determine the best course of action for you.
The Painful, Recurring Consequences of Not Doing the Work
On first glance, you may feel frustrated with me and think, “I’m not doing that. I want to get on with my life – and spending 18 weeks dwelling on it like this couldn’t possibly help.”
…but you’d be wrong.
Not doing the work of grieving is the only WRONG way to grieve … because Grief simply will not allow you to step aside. And no matter what the cause of your heartbreak, no matter what form your loss takes, you positively MUST grieve that loss before you can move on.
No matter where you are – or think you are – on your journey of recovery … we may have to back-track some – or even start again at the beginning. This is because there are certain “states” we pass through within the “Framework of Loss” – moving back and forth between them, or even being in several at the same time! And until you deal effectively with each one, you’re doomed to keep returning and moving through them – sometimes, at the most inopportune moments.
There is no clear line of separation between these stages, though – you might be engaging in behaviour typically associated with one stage while being overcome with emotions associated with another. And our movement through them is anything but “linear”. Instead, they’re like rooms that we wander randomly in and out of, until we’ve finished “cleaning and tidying” each one.
So, in addition to learning to identify these five states, you’ll also get some powerful strategies for coping with, and working through, each one of them.
I wish I could simply “roll back the clock”
to a happier time in your life
I’m sure you’d like Life to just be the way it was before your loss. I can certainly appreciate that. But it’s just not possible – not entirely, anyhow. I can’t turn back the hands of time.
But I CAN show you how to honor and remember whomever or whatever you’ve lost … how to use all the love and memories you hold in your heart to fuel your future … how to forgive yourself for being the one “left behind” to continue on … and most importantly, how to both allow and empower yourself to reconnect and feel joy once again.
I can offer you hope, while providing you with the sort of non-judgmental support you need.
I won’t persuade or dissuade you from feeling or believing any particular thing. Instead, I help you examine what you’re feeling and believing, and determine for yourself whether or not it is serving you in a positive way.
I can also help you deal with others who may be pushing you to “get over” what has happened and “be fun again”.
I walk the walk with you – not simply talk the talk. I have lived it, and I have breathed it. I get where you’re at, in the depth and uniqueness of your individual experience.
Everyday you live with a broken heart is another day you go without “living your own life” … and the longer you stay “stuck” in your pain, the more likely it is you won’t move beyond your loss.
This program might be for you if…
- You realize you’ve survived the ordeal – whether the death of a loved one, or some other significant and painful transition in life…
- You want to move on with your life but feel “stuck” – lost, or even hopeless…
- You’re feeling overwhelmed with the idea of doing this on your own, and yet…
…you can feel this “tugging”, an urge to redesign your life.
If you’re ready to move forward with your life, then your best “next move” is to schedule a FREE half-hour consultation with me. Simply enter your first name and BEST e-mail address (the one you check most frequently) in the boxes below:

My heartfelt wish for you…
My own greatest fear is that you might get stuck in your pain, and never enjoy Life again. And that would be a crying shame.

Janelle’s deep passion, coupled with her genuine from-the-heart compassion, sets her apart from the crowd. She has walked the walk to the dark and back. She supports from the heart.” – Marianne

So perhaps you can begin to understand how much it means to me, to be able to share these coping and recovery strategies with you – and most important, giving you the HOPE you need to overcome your grief and get back on track to enjoying Life.
In fact, I still get a lump in my throat each time I see someone come through the recovery process, take control of their life once again, and begin moving forward into a better future.
I know what it takes to heal, reconnect, and move on. And that is what I so dearly want for you.
One last thing before I close:
I’m asking you to please be grateful every day for whatever steps you’ve taken, whatever progress you’ve made. As we work together, I won’t put you on a timetable, saying you should reach this or that stage by such-and-such a date. And neither should you.
Yes, you CAN fully enjoy Life again … and you will. I promise.
Yours for a smoother, straighter path to recovery –
P.S. – I know I’ve said this before … but it bears repeating:
